Our Team

We are a team of corporate psychologists and coaches who earn their global clients’ deep trust and respect by partnering with them to maximize the contribution of their talent.

Our doctorally trained consultants deliver executive and professional assessments. All team members apply their education and experience to develop people and organizations. 

We do this through proprietary assessments for selection and succession, evaluation of teams and organizations, team and individual development, and improvement of organizational structure.

We are committed to being the best talent evaluators, coaches, and consultants in the industry. We do this by hiring the best, continuing education, and participating in Psynet Group’s Roundtable, where we learn from each other. Additionally, we take care of each other to allow us to give our best to our clients.

Dave Popple, PhD, Founder and Managing Director

Dave has over 20 years of experience working with companies ranging in size from 5 to 80K employees. He recently completed his 1,000th executive assessment interview and 200th executive coaching. He designed the Psybil® Platform, built the current assessment suite, integrated factors from the interviews and coaching sessions, and statistically validated the tool.

He believes understanding diverse subjects is the key to being the best assessor, coach, and consultant while running a leading-edge organization. Therefore, he took courses in entrepreneurialism, design thinking, finance, sociology, neurology, political science, business, and psychology.

He integrated these disciplines into developing the Psybil® Assessment, Psynet Group’s Executive Assessment, Coaching, and Organizational Development Playbooks.

In addition to running Psynet Group and raising funds to launch Psybil as a Platform-as-a-Service Company. Dave continues to coach a select number of executives while writing a book on the insights from his 20-year career, many counterintuitive. 

Jody Popple, PhD, Senior Consultant

Through her prior work as a clinical psychologist and current role with Psynet Group, Jody has over 20 years of experience in human behavior and human systems. As a part-time consultant for Psynet, beginning in 2006, she took on a diverse group of clients ranging from an international mining company to local family-owned businesses.

In 2016, she joined the team full-time. She built Psynet’s Family Business Services with her expertise in family systems. Since 2018 has been focusing on developing the women’s leadership division as Director of Family Business Services and Women’s Leadership Development.

Jody continues to work with Psybil® and was key to building the Culture Preference Indicator and the Leadership Style Indicator modules. She applies her deep understanding of psychology and human behavior to deliver executive assessments and interpret Psybil results. 

She received certification in Organizational Development at Columbia University. She applies this education in Psynet Group’s practice, including implementing the “Advice Culture” and employing the Role Navigator Technology to streamline organizations. 

Bill Doll, Director, Business Development

Bill brings over two decades of experience in building trusted client relationships and leading growth initiatives across various industries. Bill has a diverse range of experiences working with companies, from startups to well-established brands. As a hockey fan, I am intrigued by the company he founded, Hat Trick Sports, a successful hockey training facility in Minneapolis, MN.

Bill is committed to expanding our reach and showcasing Psybil to new partners and clients. His approachable style, deep business acumen, and focus on results make him an excellent partner.

Jim Seigler, VP Sales and Business Development

Proven Business & Sales Professional who is a thought leader with strong sales skills in New Business Development and over 20 years of deep domain knowledge in B2B and B2B2C clients. Have extensive experience in every area of sales from my own business to start-ups to pre-IPO and Fortune 500 companies. I have deep industry domain knowledge and business relationships in Telecommunications (15 years), Healthcare (7years), Insurance (10 years) IoT, CPG and Financial Services verticals. Skilled in selling large, long complex solutions to solve customer problems.

Proven Solutions Sales Executive who uses his understanding of customer’s business processes to map technology to processes to solve problems. Successfully built several partner channels that led to strong international sales in EMEA, CALA & N America region. Negotiated complex international/national contracts. Implemented account development strategy to sell to current clients and doubled current customer revenues in 1yr. Succeed in protecting and maximizing partner pipelines to build and expand revenue streams to successfully negotiate multi year renewal & new contracts in premise based and SaaS solutions.

Karen Doll, Psy.D, Partner

A Licensed Psychologist and author of Building Psychological Fitness: How High Performers Achieve with Ease, Dr. Doll joins Psybil with more than 25 years of experience in talent assessment, coaching, and leadership development. She is a passionate advocate for the promotion of human flourishing and currently chairs the Global Flourishing at Work initiative under Harvard University’s Human Flourishing Program. Her work bridges well-being and performance – an approach that aligns directly with Psybil’s mission to create psychologically fit organizations.

Brandon Young, PhD, Senior Consultant

Brandon has over 15 years of experience helping organizations identify and build sustainable solutions to their most pressing behavioral business challenges. He makes teams and organizations smarter by measuring what matters, and more productive through evidence-based psychology assessments and feedback processes.

Brandon believes people are multi-faceted and have a fundamental need to do a good job. Consequently, he values a whole-person approach to assessment — and treats motivation as a process an organization goes through with people, not something an organization does to people. 

Beth Wykle, PhD, Senior Consultant

Beth has over 20 years of experience in assessment, consulting, and human behavior. She offers expertise in answering questions about people’s behavior and delivering actionable insights for educational and business communities.

She has a Ph.D. in school psychology with additional training in industrial/organizational psychology, user experience research, and project management.

Tatiana Ovsiannikova, Program Lead

Tatiana is a passionate and proven leader with 12+ years of experience in project management and software development. As a certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, she contributes her experience and skill set towards the growth of an organization in the New York Tech Industry.

Tatiana worked with Dr. Popple in 2015 to build the Facticiti platform. She creates value by working effectively under pressure and deadlines, reducing risk and uncertainty, improving collaboration between software engineers and innovators, and increasing software team engagement.

George Randle, Senior Consultant

George is an experienced talent executive, decorated veteran, coach, and leader known for selecting, building, and reorganizing teams to reach their full business potential. George has 20+ years of Fortune 100 and Fortune 1000 global Human Resources and Talent Acquisition experience creating and leading elite teams. Following his successful military career, George transitioned to the Human Resources and Talent Acquisition functions serving the last 10+ years as a global HR executive and leader.

Over the course of his time as an executive, the teams George has built and led have hired over 85,000 professionals, including over 2000 executives. He is also known for his decades of work supporting veterans and their transitions; ultimately creating one of the largest and most successful Veteran Hiring Programs for a Global Fortune 50 firm. 

Christian Wistehuff, Chief Operating Officer

Christian brings over 25 years of experience in corporate governance, management, and development in various industries, including hospitality, private investment, and financial services.

He is an honors graduate of the Weinberg College of Arts and Sciences / Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Christian also earned a Juris Doctor degree from Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

 

Troy Karnes, Partner

Troy Karnes is the author of No Silver Bullets, a speaker, Dave Popple’s co-author, and a professional ghostwriter serving executives in tech, finance, human capital, and healthcare. At Psynet Group, he contributes writing and editorial insights to translate the firm’s clinical expertise for public audiences. He serves as a founding board member of a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising money for cancer research that will surpass $1M in donations this year. Based in Denver, he and his wife are trying to keep the house standing despite the best efforts of their two raucous boys.
